Amanda Mitchell Gross, DDS, MS
Dr. Gross is committed to being thorough in her examinations and using her keen attention to detail to make sure she treats each patient’s unique needs and helps them get the healthier, straighter smile they deserve.
She believes in taking the time to get to know her patients and treats them as she would her own family. A native El Pasoan, she also loves giving back to the community that helped shape her life.
Background
Dr. Gross was born and raised in El Paso. In high school, Dr. Gross spent much of her time in the Coronado Band and cheering on the T-Birds from the sidelines.
She ventured up to Nashville, Tennessee upon graduation to continue her education.
Education & Experience
Dr. Gross graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University, double majoring in flute musical arts and biology while maintaining her cheerleading career.
She then followed in her father’s footsteps and graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery with highest honors at the University of Texas Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. From there, Dr. Gross went on to study orthodontics at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
Dr. Gross is a board-certified orthodontist, which is a distinction that only half of all orthodontists in the United States have obtained. Dr. Gross has received many awards during her dental and orthodontic career, including being named the 2021 Eugene L. Gottlieb JCO Student of the Year and the 2022 Harry Sicher Research Award Winner.

Outside of the Office
Dr. Gross is happy to have returned home to start her family and orthodontic career. She met her husband, Dr. Kyle Gross, in dental school, and they had their baby girl, Kelly, in July 2021.
Dr. Gross loves being a mom, traveling, working out, and playing with their cat, Floss. Above all, however, the most important aspects of her life are her faith, family, and friendships.
